Fig 1.3: A graphic by Zeka Design
I liked how the plain white background let all the different coloured elements stand out from one another. It especially shows off the grayscale figure in the middle of the image well. The orange text and purple elements accompanying the figure also complements it well and gives the image more personality.

Fig 1.4: A graphic design from Indieground Design's Weekly Inspiration Dose #122
The fish-eye-lens effect really drew my eye to the figure in the center of the image. The effect is complemented by the black text placed under the figure. I also thought the font and arrangement of the title really fits the feel of the image.

Fig 1.5: A poster design for a Toyota AE86 car
The big blocky letters really drew my eye to this piece. It really matches the rest of the geometric elements of the image. The green colour of the text and other elements really pops out from the black background. I also liked the contrast of the white squares and the black background and car as it allows the car to shine when compared to the rest of the elements, letting it be the focal point of the entire image.
REFLECTION
The images chosen served as good references for my work. The lecture given also gave insightful info on Adobe Photoshop.
