Practice Shoot
For the final project, we had the choice of choosing to do a visual effects or stop-motion video. Me and my friends chose stop-motion. We had a practice shoot in the studio before filming. We had to shoot the given video prompt with a stop-motion app and the camera in the studio.

I grouped with Irdhina and Kai Xuan. We had a fun time sculpting and filming together in the studio.

Before writing the story, we were told to pick a tarot card and prompt randomly. I got the wheel of fortune card with the prompt, "The expected outcome".
Based on the card, I created a storyboard with themes of romance but it was quite long and complicated to do.
After feedback, I simplified the story based on Mr. Martin's suggestions removing the romance themes and replacing it with a more heartwarming theme.

Based on this storyboard, I made a draft stop-motion video.

After feedback, I simplified the story with Mr. Martin's suggestions again changing the theme from heartwarming to comedy. I made an animatic video ibis Paint X to create a vision for the story.

After that, I made the new models for the 2nd draft. I ended up reusing the clay from the 1st draft video.

When I was done filming, I imported the JPEG sequence into After Effects. I used the roto brush to insert an image that had to be placed behind the characters. It took a lot of tries but I eventually got an okay outcome.
After that, I imported the video into Premiere Pro for editing. I colour corrected the footage.
