2. PROCESS WORK
Exercise 1: Audio Dubbing
I recorded the dialogue according to the given subtitles
- Do not worry,
this is just a burner universe
- we are using for communication.
- Oh-oh-oh!
- You will know when
it is time to fight.
- You want to redo?
- You're going to resubmit?
- I will be in contact soon.
- Shh, shh, shh.
- I think my other husband
is messing up the audit.
- Maybe we can look at
all the receipts again and...
- Evelyn! Trust no-one. 
- Oh!
- Oh, no, no. No, no, no. No...!

To record the lines, I referred to a YouTube clip of the movie to get the tones of the characters right.

Sound Effects
For all of the sound effects, me, Kai Xuan, Irdhina, Wen Chia and Li Wen worked together to map out the timestamps for the dialogues and the sound effects. We compiled everything into an online spreadsheet. We sourced most of the sound effects from Pixabay while some of them were recorded by Wen Chia and Kai Xuan.

I then used the spreadsheet as a guide when editing the audio into the video.

Exercise 2: Sound Shaping
I first recorded a 10-second voice line from the movie, Everything Everywhere All At Once in Malay.

I then followed Mr. Martin's guide to edit the voiceline with the parametric equalizer.

For the cave I applied a rack effect to it.

For the alien voice I applied a pitch shifter and analog delay to it.
